"We recently hired Anchor Point Consulting to help facilitate a focus group for a complex personal injury case involving a severe car accident and the resulting amputation of our client's leg. Their focus group provided valuable insights into juror perception, particularly concerning the presentation of our client and how a jury may perceive surveillance footage that was taken of our client. The feedback we received aided in refining our trial strategy, allowing us to fine-tune our presentation of witness testimony and key evidence. This ultimately contributed to our ability to secure a significant verdict exceeding $38 million. We recommend Anchor Point Consulting to anyone looking to help their clients achieve optimal outcomes."

"I cannot recommend Anchor Point Consulting highly enough. We recently achieved a $2.9 Million settlement in our case involving our client, a significant result that was undoubtedly bolstered by the insights we gained from working with Greg, Pritam, Connor, and the entire Anchor Point team.
This was a complex auto accident case stemming from an incident in East Baton Rouge Parish. Our client was traveling southbound on Church Street when a box truck pulled out from a stop sign and into the path of the client's vehicle. The client sustained serious injuries, including a mild Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), persistent headaches, memory and concentration difficulties, trouble with emotional regularity, and a seizure disorder.
We conducted multiple focus groups with Anchor Point, and each was instrumental. The first session provided us with a crucial 10,000-foot view of the case. Anchor Point presented a neutral statement of the facts to a mock jury panel, allowing us to gauge initial impressions and identify key perceptions of fault and injury without any advocacy.
For our second focus group, we brought our client in from out of state to testify in front of a mock jury panel. I conducted a direct examination of him, and one of Anchor Point's trial consultants, Connor, performed a cross-examination. This was invaluable for testing how he would hold up under scrutiny from a group of strangers. We also specifically wanted to see how the mock jurors would react to his support animal, a pit bull, which was a unique aspect of his daily life.
The feedback we received from both of these focus groups was absolutely instrumental. It helped us to accurately value our case, pinpoint its core strengths and weaknesses, and test our overall theory of the case in a realistic setting. We highly recommend conducting focus groups early enough in your case to allow time to reshape your approach based on the feedback you receive. By the time we walked into mediation, we had the confidence that we could walk away and try the case tomorrow, knowing exactly where we stood and how a jury might respond. Anchor Point's insights truly made the difference in securing this favorable outcome."

"We recently hired Anchor Point Consulting to aid us in our preparation of a case involving an insurance company’s refusal to settle within policy limits, which ultimately exposed our client to a significant excess judgment. Anchor Point’s focus group helped us identify how jurors were likely to view the insurer’s early low offer, lack of transparency, and failure to protect their insured. The insights we gained were instrumental in shaping our trial strategy. The case resulted in a verdict awarding substantial economic and emotional damages, along with an additional recovery on the bad faith claim. If you're handling a complex insurance or bad faith matter, Anchor Point’s work provides clear, actionable feedback that can make a difference."

"Our client is a young woman who lived and worked in the Bywater area of New Orleans as a construction supervisor. After having brunch with a friend one morning, she was riding her moped down the street when a delivery truck driver failed to look both ways before crossing the intersection and violently ran her over. She suffered significant orthopedic injuries that resulted in immediate surgery and hardware implantation to her leg and shoulder. She also sustained a significant brain injury and associated symptoms. The severity of her injuries left her unable to return to the construction industry, and unable to provide for herself financially, which led to further depression and anxiety symptoms. As a result of those increased symptoms, she unfortunately, attempted to end her life in a single-car collision a little over a year after the initial collision.
We utilized AnchorPoint to address issues in our case including the potential jury’s perception of our client, her struggles with depression and anxiety and the resulting single-car suicide attempt, and a reasonable assessment of general damages in consideration of a variety of factors and circumstances. Not only did we gain extraordinary insights about those issues, we were also enlightened as to various other issues that the focus group brought up on their own, such as a failure of the company to drug test its driver, and their perception of big box drivers in general. All in all, the focus group left us with incredibly valuable knowledge that enabled us to continue pursuing the best possible outcome for our client."

"Anchor Point Consulting proved instrumental in helping us achieve a $4.6 million verdict in a complex automobile accident case. The case involved a collision where a company truck turned left in front of another vehicle, severely injuring a 77-year-old woman. Notably, this verdict significantly exceeded the defense's valuation of the case, coming in at over six times higher than their valuation. Anchor Point's focus group provided valuable insights into juror perceptions of the key issues, including the company's liability and the extent of the plaintiff's injuries. Specifically, the focus group provided valuable insight into how to best present evidence to the jury regarding course and scope, which was a contested issue in the case. This feedback was crucial in refining our trial strategy and ensuring we focused on the arguments that resonated most effectively with the mock jurors, ultimately contributing to the favorable outcome for our client."

"I would recommend Anchor Point Consulting to any attorney preparing for trial. We recently had a complex auto accident case where our client sustained various injuries after being rear-ended, and the biggest challenge was dealing with pre-existing conditions and accurately assigning causation for the new injuries.
Greg, Pritam, Connor and the entire team at Anchor Point were incredibly helpful and easy to work with. They ran a focus group for us that helped truly narrow down the specific issues that would matter most to a jury, especially concerning how jurors would differentiate between past injuries and new ones. The feedback we received was extremely valuable.
Thanks to their guidance and the valuable feedback from the mock jurors, we were able to use that information to successfully settle our case, avoiding the uncertainty of a trial. It was a first-class operation from start to finish, and we'll definitely be back for future cases."

“Our firm recently utilized Anchor Point Consulting in a complex personal injury case involving a fuel delivery driver injured at a distribution center. The incident occurred in a poorly marked fueling area at night during rainy conditions, where a newly employed 18-wheeler driver unintentionally ran over the plaintiff. Anchor Point's focus group provided critical analysis of several key issues, including the 18-wheeler driver's negligence, the fuel delivery driver's safety precautions, and the premises liability of the property owner. With the help of Anchor Point Consulting, we achieved a significantly favorable confidential settlement worth approximately ten times more than the defense's initial offer. We highly recommend their services to any firm seeking a deeper understanding of juror dynamics and a strategic advantage in complex litigation."
